Kivelor Travels, (“Kivélor Travels”, ‘‘Kivélor’’, ‘‘Kivelor’’, “we”, “us”, or “our”) a Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) certified Travel Agency in Nigeria under RC 3266354, provides offline and online travel, tourism and other related services (hereinafter collectively referred to as ''services'') to the general public.
The following provisions of this Terms and Conditions of Service (''Terms'') shall apply to all individuals (“customer”, “traveller’’, “passenger”, “customers”, “travellers’’, “passengers” “applicants”, “you”, “yourself”, “them”, or “their”) that access our website hereinafter referred to as ''site'', ( whose homepage is located at the following URL: www.kivelortravels.com ) whether by surfing, reading, viewing, using, and/or purchasing any of the services offered on our site and shall govern the use of our services. It is the sole responsibility of our customers (especially the booking passenger(s) or the main visa applicant(s)) to inform all other parties travelling with them or entitled to the benefits of any service or item provided by us upon their request, the contents of this Terms and Conditions of Service.
By using our website and/or paying for any of our services, you accept these Terms and Conditions of Service in full. If you disagree with these general Terms and Conditions of Service or any part of this general Terms and Conditions of Service, you must not use our website or purchase any of our services.

Flight Booking
Our current online flight booking portal at ''https://www.kivelortravels.com/flight'' is powered by our partner, Travelstart: ''https://www.travelstart.com.ng''. Customers using the online flight booking engine are subject to their respective carrier/airline's fare rules, policies and regulations; also Travelstart's policies, terms & regulations. We will not be liable for any damage you may incur as a result of using Travelstart's flight booking engine and related services. Customers are using Travelstart's flight booking engine and services at their own risk.
We are also able to provide offline flight bookings by our GDS and other industry partners. In such a case where payment is made to any of our valid bank accounts for the purpose of fulfilling an offline flight booking is confirmed by us, we are liable to provide the agreed booking. The said agreed booking is subject to the following terms:
The flight ticket cost will be based on our sole discretion as at the time of booking and not at the time of payment due to the standard fluctuations of airline tickets. If there is an increase in the flight ticket price as at the time of booking, the customer is subject to make available the balance.
In a situation where a customer refuses to provide the balance and wishes to have a refund, the cost incurred in receiving and transferring the customers fund will be deducted before refund is made. Such a customer will be bound by our own refund policy for such a situation which has a stipulated refund timeframe of 7 – 14 working days.
In an event where a customer suddenly decides to cancel his/her flight booking that payment has been confirmed for and such a customer has reached out to our official representative qualified for such a feat of cancellation for immediate cancellation/termination of the process of our purchasing said flight ticket we haven’t already purchased, such a customer will be subject to our refund and cancellation policy as stipulated in this Terms and Conditions of Service which usually takes effect within seven (7) – fourteen (14) working days after such a cancellation and refund has been validated by us.
A flight ticket duly purchased for a customer by us is most times considered non-refundable and non-transferable otherwise explicitly stated. A purchased ticket will be subject to its initial refund terms/conditions/stipulations as declared by its or their respective airline(s). If the respective airline deems a customer’s ticket valid for a refund, the customer will be bound by the respective airline’s general refund policy. Customers are to take note of the refund status and regulations of their desired ticket before purchase. Customers should also bear in mind that cheap economy flight tickets most times have no refund.
Should a customer decide not to travel or cancel his/her trip for any reason after purchase of ticket has been made. The customer will be subject to the refund status regulation/stipulations on the purchased ticket by the respective airline(s).
All flight tickets are subject to their respective airline’s policy, it is the customers sole responsibility to inquire more from their respective airline about essential information guiding their trip or destinations as information/regulations are always subject to change.
In the case where a flight is cancelled or rescheduled by an airline for whatever purpose, we are not liable for any unfavourable circumstances or damages that may arise as a result of the sudden incident. Rescheduling and or refund will be determined by the type of ticket and the respective airline’s policies which we will not be liable for. Customers are advised to get a travel cover and be well prepared for unforeseen circumstances that may jeopardise or incur additional cost on their trip.
Most airlines have strict regulations all passengers must adhere to. It may or may not be limited to the following:

Travel Documents Regulations
Medical and/or Covid-19 Regulations
Itinerary/Destination Regulations
Airport Authority Regulations
Airline’s Government Regulations
Local and International/Security Regulations
Immigration Authority Regulations
Customers are to make sure they strictly adhere to all authorities as at when due. Should any customer/passenger fail to meet any authority or regulatory standard at any point of his/her itinerary, we will not be liable for any damage. Customers/Passengers should ensure they meet all regulatory standards cutting across their itinerary from point of origin to their final destination.

Ultimately, passengers should contact their respective airline (flight carrier) for all information about their trip and make all necessary and required arrangements as stipulated by the respective official authority where applicable before embarking on their trip.
Hotel Reservation/Accommodation
We provide affordable hotel bookings through our hospitality partners. All customers are ultimately subject to our partners and/or their respective hotel’s policies and regulations.
We reserve the right to increase the cost of any confirmed or pending reservation/accommodation even after deposits have been paid.
Should a customer decide to cancel his/her reservation, such a customer is bound by the cancellation and refund policy of the hotel or hotels where he/she has a reservation.
Some hotels may provide partial refund or none at all based on their cancellation and refund policy that were in effect as at the time of booking. It is a customer’s responsibility to be updated with the general policies, refund and cancellation policy of the respective hotel(s) before confirming a booking.
In a situation where there's a sudden change in accommodation capacity or a customer’s confirmed booking become invalid or any incident prevents a customer from accessing or utilizing any of his/her benefits and privileges as stipulated in his/her booking confirmation by the sole discretion of the hotel, such a customer will be bound by the general and additional policies, general and additional refund and cancellation policy of the respective hotel(s) which has been put in place for such an event. We will not be liable for any damage that a customer may incur as a result of a spontaneous or sudden incident that affects the services of the respective hotel(s).
Tour/Adventure/Experience/Vacation/Honeymoon & Events (“Event”, “Events”, “Activity” or “Activities”)
We occasionally map out different experiences for different categories of travellers. We and our travel, hospitality and tour partners in different destinations work collectively to ensure a wonderful experience for our travellers.
All customers embarking on a tour/event/activity organized and/or physically managed by us or our tour/event/event partner, acknowledge that the use or enjoyment of any activity may be hazardous and inherently risky, and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any personal injury or death; lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed property; or other liability arising out of or in connection with the use and operation of the activity, and all actions or events occurring prior to, during, at or after, the activity.
All customers subscribing or purchasing any of our tour, event, experience or activities package are bound by their additional or particular terms and conditions governing them.
Visa Support
All our Visa Support Services are Visa Fee Inclusive except otherwise explicitly stated.
All Embassies/Consulates/Immigration Authorities have a non-refundable visa policy which we strictly adhere to.
All Visa Support Services Cost are non-refundable and non-transferable.
All Visa Applications are subject to processing/screening before approval based on their respective Consular/Embassy/Immigration’s sole discretion and authority. We will not be liable for damages that may arise as a result of negative decision, delay in decision, further processing, actions or inactions by the respective Consular/Embassy/Immigration Authority to whom a visa application prepared, filled or filed by us or through us has been duly submitted to on behalf of a customer.
Travel Insurance
All passengers are strongly advised to get a travel cover, especially one that covers Covid-19, during booking or at least before departure.
We offer free travel insurance for new customers that book flights with us for a year. Existing customers also get a free travel cover if they book flights with us within six months of their last ticket purchase from us.
Please note that this free travel cover is only eligible for International Flights & New Visa Support Applicants.
This free travel cover is made available to eligible passengers based on its availability, hence it may become invalid at any time without any prior notice. The terms concerning this free cover are always stipulated on our terms & conditions of service. It’s a customer’s sole responsibility to be updated with the current terms & conditions of service concerning Free Travel Insurance/Cover.
We provide travel insurance through our partner Allianz. All our travel insurance services are ultimately subject to Allianz’s policies.
Covid-19
Most countries and airlines have a standard Covid-19 regulation. Passengers are advised to visit the iata travel centre webpage: https://iatatravelcentre.com for current and detailed travel information about their itinerary. Passengers should also visit: https://iatatravelcentre.com/international-travel-document-news for more Covid-19 related information.
Most airlines require a Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate or a valid negative Covid-19 Test (usually 48hrs before your travel date) before any passenger can board. We advise all passengers to contact the respective airlines handling their trip for further clarifications concerning Covid-19 regulations. Passengers are to adhere strictly to each destination's and airline's Covid-19 regulations to ensure smooth onboarding and avoid a no-show situation. We will not be liable for any unfavourable circumstances that may arise due to the failure of any passenger to adhere to required Covid-19 regulations.
Should a passenger test positive of Covid-19 a few days before his/her trip, refund will be determined by the regulation and stipulation of the passenger’s valid ticket according to the respective airline(s) authority. We shall not be liable for any circumstances that may arise due to this issue. Passengers are to confirm all instances of refund available for their flight ticket before purchase. If the airline(s) confirm(s) the eligibility of refund for any passenger facing this issue, the passenger will be subject to the respective airline’s or airlines’ refund policy.
Should a passenger/traveller contact Covid-19 at any point of his/her itinerary, and have to go into isolation etc, it would be
the passenger/traveller’s responsibility to cover all expenses that may surface.
Ultimately, all passengers are advised to get a valid worldwide travel cover, especially one that covers major instances of Covid-19 to avoid unpleasant situations and incurring exuberant costs.

We will never ask you through internet or phone calls, emails or text messages for your debit/credit card number, credit/debit card pin, OTP, password and other sensitive financial information.

We urge all our customers to be very watchful when desiring to make a payment to us. Feel free to contact us via any of our communication channels for further enquiries, assistance, requests or whistle blowing as regards making a bank payment, an online payment or confirming if a payment link or request is from us.
In the case where a server/service maintenance or server/service downtime or server/service unavailability/failure or any service disrupting incident is in effect on any of our banking service providers, we shall not be liable for delay or failure to make or receive payments from and for our customers nor shall we liable for any damage this may cause any customer. Customers are advised to give adequate timeframe for any trip they plan to embark on, taking typical or sudden incidents into consideration.
In the case where a server/service maintenance or server/service downtime or server/service unavailability/failure or any service disrupting incident is in effect on any of our customer's banking service providers, we shall not be liable for delay or failure to receive such payments from the customer’s banking service providers neither shall we be liable for delay or halt in processing/fulfilling any service or purchasing any item for such customer.
Cancellation & Refund
All cancellation and/or refund request sent through our officially designated communication channels for cancellation and refund purposes, from any customer will be subject to undergo validation and qualification. If we consider such a request invalid, we will not be liable to initiate a cancellation and/or provide a refund. If we consider such a request valid, we will be liable to initiate a cancellation and/or provide a refund.
The total cost incurred in receiving and transferring the customer’s fund back will be deducted from the initial amount before a refund begins processing.
All our refund strictly adheres to a cashless policy. In a situation where a customer desire a refund in physical cash, we reserve the right to refuse such a demand and if we shall accept such a demand it shall be at our own discretion without any obligation to inform the customer.
All validated refund request will be subject to our seven (7) to fourteen (14) working days refund timeframe expect otherwise explicitly stated in any particular terms and conditions governing a specific service or item. Please bear in mind that this timeframe does not involve public or government declared holidays. Also, this timeframe does not include our or the customers' bank’s maintenance/service downtime or failure period.
All fight tickets purchased from us through receiving a verified/confirmed payment in any of our official bank accounts or through any of our official payment portals from a customer, are subject to their refund status and their respective airline’s or airlines’ refund and cancellation policy.
Tour/Adventure/Experience/Vacation/Honeymoon/Events (“Event”, “Events”, “Activity” or “Activities”) payments, whether part or whole for any particular service we shall propose in its entirety are subject to our general cancellation and refund policy as well as the event’s or activity's particular additional terms and conditions. In a situation where both terms conflict, the additional terms and conditions governing a particular event or activity will prevail. In a situation where both do not conflict, both shall be in full effect.
All purchased travel insurance is non-refundable and non-transferable.
All visa fee payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
All visa support payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
All student application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
We reserve the right to cancel, disallow or reschedule any consultation appointment both online and physical. We shall communicate the status of such consultation appointment to the respective customer(s) without any obligation at our own discretion.
We reserve the right to cancel or increase the price of any generated quote for any entity, group or individual.
In an event where a customer suddenly requests to cancel a paid and confirmed service yet to undergo processing or fulfilment by us, such a request will be valid for cancellation and refund where valid and applicable under the said service's additional and particular terms and conditions.
In an event where a customer suddenly requests to cancel a paid and confirmed service already undergoing processing or fulfilment or at any stage after commencement by us, such a request will be valid for only cancellation where applicable without refund. If such a service has additional terms and conditions regarding its particular cancellation and refund policy, such a service will be further bound by said additional or particular terms and conditions regarding its cancellation and refund policy. In a situation where both terms conflicts, the additional terms and conditions shall prevail. In a situation where both do not conflict, they both shall be in full effect.
Travel Agency/Travel Agent/Intermediary
We are a Travel Agency or Travel Agent recognized and permitted by law to provide travel, tourism, hospitality and other travel industry related services. We are an expert intermediary between Travel, Tourism, Hospitality and other Travel Industry Designated/Service Suppliers and the general public. We do not own or operate any of, hotels, shore excursions, transportation providers, cruise lines, vessels, airlines, travel insurance/cover companies, attractions, or other travel-related Suppliers who provide goods or services for Passengers’ trip. Passengers acknowledge and agree that we shall not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to Passengers or group members as a result of a breach of contract, act or omission whether wilful or negligent, criminal or otherwise of any person other than us or our direct employees, including but not limited to these Suppliers, their employees, agents, servants, or representatives.
Miscellaneous
Where applicable, it is a customer’s responsibility to have all the required and necessary travel and medical documents such as valid passport, valid flight ticket, travel cover, yellow fever card, negative Covid-19 test, 7 days Covid-19 Test Post Trip, Covid-19 vaccination etc. that meets the current guidelines and stipulations as at the time of travel before, during and after embarking on a trip. Customers are responsible for any damage that arise from their failure to present these documents at any recognized authority’s request at any point of their itinerary.
Some of our travel/tour services may have additional terms and conditions that vary from the general terms & conditions, where applicable, the peculiar or stated terms & conditions on a particular service shall prevail over this general Terms and Conditions of Service. Kindly ensure that you have read and understood any additional terms & conditions that are in effect on any of our services. We reserve the right to increase the cost of any of our service, tour package, made or pending hotel reservation even after deposits have been paid, especially when we’re affected by a hike in flight prices, sudden change in visa fees and hotel reservations cost, foreign exchange fluctuations or the terms and conditions or regulations of any official authority or partner that affects the provision of our services.
Purchasing any of our services means you are our customer and is not in any way affiliated with us. Every actions and activity of our customer at any point of their itinerary is voluntary and at their own discretion.
By purchasing any of our tour services, booking a flight ticket or getting a hotel reservation from us, you confirm that you are physically and mentally capable to embark on the booked trip. If you have any medical or imposing challenges, kindly let us know of it and any medical or care management in effect for it. Without obligation, we will try our possible best to be of help.
During any of our international, local tours or excursions, all customers are advised to take care of their properties. We will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of theft, negligence, or other factors.
All headings are for reference purposes only and do not limit the scope or extent of such section.
Amendment/Modification of Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this Terms and Conditions of Service or any policy or guideline of our Site(s), at any time and in our sole discretion. Any changes or modification will be effective immediately upon posting of the revisions on our Site(s), and you waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications. Your continued use of our Site(s) following the posting of changes or modifications will confirm your acceptance of such changes or modifications.
Indemnification
We would not be liable under this Terms and Conditions of Service for direct, indirect or consequential liability of any losses directly or indirectly by you in connection with our service.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of Nigeria. Kivelor Travels and yourself irrevocably consent that the courts of Nigeria shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.
Dispute resolution
If any dispute, difference, or controversy arises out of or in relation or connection to this Term and Conditions of Service, we shall in the first instance attempt in good faith to resolve it promptly by discussions and negotiation between us and yourself and who have authority to settle the dispute.
Force Majure
We would be excused from contractual liability in delay or cessation of delivery, cancellation, postponement under this agreement caused by acts of omissions that are beyond the reasonable control of and not the fault or negligence of us, such as and not limited to delays or cancellation caused by airline, act of God, fire, natural catastrophe, pandemic, extreme weather conditions, epidemic, disease outbreak, mechanical failure of aircraft, airport closure, or strike action.
Severability
If any provision of this Terms and Conditions of Service shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
